The SAVE OUR PARKS FOUNDATION is an environmental coalition of volunteers dedicated to preserving the parklands in La Jolla, California. Our primary parks of focus are the La Jolla Shores Beach Park, Mt. Soledad, and the La Jolla Cove Park.
We were established in 1999 in response to the encroachment of real estate development with a sole purpose to permanently safeguard the park and beach environment. Our membership consists of business professionals, environmental activists, youth groups, and parents.
The mission of the SAVE OUR PARKS FOUNDATION is to raise public awareness and promote supportive action among the La Jolla citizenry to counter the potential loss of our cherished natural resources.
